Our supporters
For the financing that enables us to carry out its work, besides receiving some support in the form of grants from trusts and foundations and as corporate sponsorship, Topsy relies heavily on donations from individuals.
We would like to thank not only those whose fundraising initiatives we list as examples below, but all those that have supported us over the years.
Alice Huber and friends (including a banana!) hit the streets of London
The 2010 Walk for Life in London took place on Sunday 6th June and Topsy supporter Alice and 10 other walkers joined in to raise funds for our project work in South Africa. Team Topsy, including one dressed as a banana, together raised over £2,500. Alice in particular did a wonderful job of fundraising including gaining matched funding for donations from colleagues at her Deutsche Bank office. Thank you to all who took part in walking and raising funds.
