Meg Matthews joins Topsy as Patron
The successful television personality and ‘It' girl, Meg Mathews, is delighted and honoured to be a patron of the Topsy Foundation UK.
Meg has made many television appearances as a personality on shows including ‘Angela and Friends' and the BBC documentary 'Rich, Famous and Homeless', which focused on prevalent social issues close to Meg's heart.
Most recently, Meg has created a name for herself within the design and fashion industry, with her products and designs being sold at a
number of shops and boutiques across London. Her particular interest in supporting The Topsy Foundation comes down to a shared philosophy and admiration for the work being done by this foundation. In her own words, Meg explains:
Having spent a good deal of my childhood in South Africa and now being a mother myself, I applaud the work of this charity. They are currently helping over 850 orphaned and vulnerable children per month who are living in impoverished rural communities to live a stable and healthy life. Topsy's projects make a real difference as they work with the whole community to offer comprehensive and sustainable solutions to the effects of HIV and AIDS.
